Students from the SRJC dance program have transferred successfully to UC, CSU, and professional dance programs all around the country including: CSULB, SJSU, UC Berkeley, Sacramento State, San Francisco State, Sonoma State, UC Santa Barbara, Dominican, and Alvin Ailey.

SRJC dancers connect with other college dance programs by participating in the American College Dance Conference each year. Students enroll in master classes, workshops, and lectures by esteemed dance professors from Community College, CSU and UC institutions. SRJC Faculty and Student choreography and performance is adjudicated at this conference and has the opportunity for selection in the top 10% of dances to be presented in the culminating performance of the conference. SRJC has been attending the American College Dance Conference every year since Spring 2017.  In the Spring of 2018, SRJC submitted a faculty piece, "Wigs and Tarts" to be adjudicated and was selected for the final Gala event; a high honor during the conference.
