MySRJCApp Terms of Service

We value your privacy and protect your personal information. By registering with the MySRJCApp with your SRJC credentials, you agree to the Ready Education privacy policy and terms of service and to the terms and conditions indicated below.

The purpose of the MySRJCApp is to allow Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) students to engage with and receive information about SRJC.  All posted content and comments shall announce, or ask questions about SRJC resources, classes, services and events, and housing, lost and found items, and school related items for sale. The College encourages students to report instances related to sexual misconduct and issues of safety through the college’s established reporting forum in your student portal, rather than posting publicly.  Or, call 911 for immediate emergencies. SRJC reserves the right to revise these categories.

In addition, you agree to comply with all SRJC policies when using the mobile application, including but not limited to those outlined in the Student Code of Conduct,  and Sonoma County Junior College District Board Policy 2.15P Prevention and Response to Sexual Assault, Sexual Harassment, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence And Stalkingand  Sonoma County Junior College District Board Policy 2.13P Computer and Communications Technology Use All posts must also comply with local, state and federal laws.  Posts out of compliance with these conditions will be reviewed and reported to SRJC Staff following the applicable policies and procedures. Please note that complaints posted on the Campus Wall in MySRJCApp are not considered official complaints by the District. Complaints should first be addressed by meeting with the source of the complaint in a good faith attempt to resolve. If this is unsuccessful, students may consult with a student grievance officer Ombudsperson for guidance about the official District complaint/grievance process. The Complaint and Grievance Reporting Form is to be completed and submitted if a student wishes to file an official complaint.

Users should not expect this app to be moderated by SRJC staff 24/7. Further, you acknowledge and agree to the built-in moderation features for the Campus Wall in MySRJCApp.  The built-in moderation features allow MySRJCApp users to flag posts or images that they considered inappropriate. Any post that receives four flags is automatically removed from the campus wall to be reviewed by SRJC Staff who will approve, move, or delete the post.

The Communications Decency Act, Section 230, grants immunity to SRJC from lawsuits as the provider of MySRJCApp.  The MySRJCApp is the property of SRJC.  As a user you grant to SRJC a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, license to retain and display any content you post or upload.
